In 1986 two little girls started kindergarten. What they didn't know then was that they were starting a friendship that would span a lifetime.

   They instantly clicked.

   They supported each other through out the awkward growing up stages. From Superman pajamas, corduroys and cowboy boots to gigantic bangs, zits, braces and break ups. They were always there for each other.

   They weren't angels by any means, but they were generally good kids. If you call "borrowing" your dad's truck at the age of 15 to drive two blocks to the gas station good. Hey, a permit and a moped license equal a real license right??

   There were many late nights talking about their dreams and gossiping about all other things. Oh, and playing Trolls or PeeWee's playhouse.  

   They were there to encourage each other through out high school. Going to watch each other's band competitions and concerts or watching dance recitals. Prom shopping and the Prom were amazing. Then they graduated. But their story doesn't end there.

   They have been there for each other through marriages, babies and losing loved ones. They have adopted each others family as their own. They have lived through many jobs that just didn't fit right. So, at the age of 36, they decided to start a new adventure together, a photography business.

  Autumn takes amazing photos and Brandy enjoys editing them. ( Which is really easy with the amazing photos my bestie takes! )

   They are truly partners in crime, best friends and sisters.

 

   Rockfield Photography named for Autumn Rockwell James and Brandy Merrifield Bowery is truly a labor of love, and the dream of two little girls, who didn't know it at the time, that started sharing their dreams with each other at the age of 6 in an elementary school classroom.
